Churchill Bridal Editorial

I am excited to share my images from the bridal editorial I shot with the most epic team in December 2020. I hope you love the shoot as much as I do!

The Churchill editorial was in the pipe line for around five months before we could finally make it happen. Inspired by the concept of marrying classic elegance and ethereal beauty with a strong female lead, I set out to pull together an impressive team of wedding vendors, fashion industry professionals and designers to help bring the story to life.

I chose Churchill in Taradale, Victoria as the idyllic setting for the shoot. The location perfectly matched the bridal editorial element. For the gowns, I wanted them to be a mix of editorial/fashion/untraditional bridal so I selected four from Adelaide based couturier Paolo Sebastian and a stunning Harriette Gordon blue silk off-the-shoulder gown (also available in ivory) with an intricately hand-embroidered veil. I combined these with traditional yet modern silhouettes in ivory from the renowned Mariana Hardwick. I brought on Chadwick model Ayuol Manyok as the strong and beautiful lead. I wanted to show diversity especially in the bridal space where it can be a scarcity. Ayuol was the perfect muse. As well as capturing Ayuol in the grounds of Churchill, I shot images of her interacting with the tablescape, stationery and decor which brings the lifestyle element of the shoot to life.
