Phoebe and Tom didn’t play by the book when it came to planning their wedding day. They knew they wanted to celebrate the love they share and their families but were torn on the right location with family and friends located in Tasmania and the couple being based in Sydney. With only 3 months to spare (!!), they stumbled on images of the Victorian Marriage Registry and set a date for June. From there, everything came together for bring their loved ones together for a long weekend in Melbourne.
To me, this couple epitomises The Anti Bride; completely unphased by tradition, they selected styling details that spoke to their personalities and shared history. For example, at their Cumulus Inc reception dinner, in lieu of traditional place cards, a personal letter awaited each of their guests. Phoebe also had her dress made by Soraya Tailoring, with the design inspired by a Carla Zampatti dress she wore on the night she first met Tom.
